Paterson, NJ Man Pleads Guilty In Federal Court To Violating Federal Drug Laws

On August 18, at the US District Court for the District of New Jersey in Newark, Isaiah Hargrove, 20, of Paterson, pleaded guilty before U.S. District Judge Brian R. Martinotti to conspiracy to distribute and possess with the intent to distribute 100 grams or more of heroin and 40 grams or more of fentanyl and knowingly and intentionally distributing fentanyl.

Hargrove and members of the 230 Boys street gang, which operates primarily around Rosa Parks Boulevard and Godwin Avenue in Paterson, NJ. were the targets of an investigation that included controlled purchases of narcotics, recorded telephone calls and text messages, physical surveillance, and the analysis of telephone call detail records.

Through this investigation it was determined that from September 2018 through October 2019, Hargrove and members of the 230 Boys street gang conspired to distribute narcotics, including heroin and fentanyl.
